Deputy Steve Luce

Chair, Environment, Housing and Infrastructure Scrutiny Panel

5 January 2024

Dear Deputy Luce ,

Re: Marine Spatial Plan Consultation

Thank you for your letter dated 20 December regarding an extension of the Marine Spatial Plan consultation.

I can confirm that the Marine Spatial Plan consultation has been extended to the 28 January 2024.

The intention of the extension is to give stakeholders more time to comment. Marine Resources has communicated directly with stakeholders to make them aware of this opportunity. The extension has also been announced to the public via government social media channels.

Yours sincerely

Deputy Jonathan Renouf Minister for the Environment
