ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
- Records of Meetings
To approve the records of the meetings held on 17th, 20th and 27th September 2019. SCRUTINY REVIEWS
- Government Plan Review
• To agree and finalise the findings & recommendations made within the report.
• To sign off on the Government Plan Report for consolidation and publishing.
• To finalise any amendments to the Government Plan.
- Population & Migration Review
To agree final changes to the Panel's report and to note that a digital report summary is being prepared, in preparation for publication of the report.
- Revenue Administration Law
To note receipt of a letter from the Minister for Treasury and Resources advising of the appointed day act and implementation of the Revenue Administration Law (tranche 1).
To note receipt of a further letter confirming that tranche 2 of the Revenue Administration Law will now be lodged separately for debate and to discuss the scope of any further work by the Panel.
SCRUTINY MATTERS
- Quarterly Hearings
To note receipt of a response from the Minister for Treasury and Resources to follow up points arising from the quarterly hearing on 3rd October.
To agree the question areas for the Panel's forthcoming Quarterly Hearings with the Minister for Treasury & Resources and Chief Minister and to note the following dates for the hearings:
• Tuesday 19th November (2.30pm) – Minister for Treasury and Resources
• Friday 22nd November (10am) – Chief Minister (rearranged from 15th Nov)
- Briefings
To note that the Panel has been offered briefings on the following items and to discuss suitable dates for the briefings to be held:
• Personal Tax changes
• Revenue Administration Law / Tax compliance update
• Office Strategy
- States Business
To review any recent Ministerial Decisions, consider any items of business in forthcoming States meetings which fall within the Panel's remit and consider any oral or written questions that the Panel may want to ask.
ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
- Items for communication
To agree the key points of communication arising from the meeting.
- Future Meetings
To note that the Panel's next scheduled meeting is due to take place on Tuesday 19th November 2019 at 9.30am in the Blampied room.
