To receive a briefing on the updated Police Complaints Law to be lodged by the Minister for Home Affairs on Tuesday 28th July
SCRUTINY REVIEWS
- Teacher Recruitment and Retention Review
- To receive a verbal update on the progress of the report.
- To receive a verbal update on the responses received regarding the fact checking of the report.
- Covid-19 response
- To note and discuss the action logs for each Minister within the Panel's remit and to agree any areas or issues to follow up.
- To receive an update on any legislative developments within the Panel's remit in respect of Covid-19.
- To note and discuss the Scoping Document and Terms of Reference for the Panels review of Covid-19 Response - Impact on Wellbeing'.
- Deployment of Tasers by States of Jersey Police Officers

- Work Programme
- To receive a verbal update on actions arising from the previous meeting.
- To note each Ministers' work programme and priorities going forward and to discuss areas to follow up or actions required.
- Government Plan update
- To discuss, in light of the Covid-19 crisis, a spreadsheet demonstrating RAG ratings associated with projects examined by the Panel in the previous Government Plan Review.
- To discuss and agree follow up questions in relation to the actions and projects in the previous Government Plan Review.
- To note preparations for the review of the upcoming iteration of the Government Plan 2021.
- Quarterly Public Hearing with the Minister for Home Affairs
To discuss the recent quarterly hearing on 10th July and note any agreed follow up actions.

To note the scheduled upcoming hearing with the Minister for Education on Friday 25th September and to agree the question areas for the hearing.
