To approve the minutes of 3 February 2020

To note the established practice of engagement between the PAC and Executive branch and other organisations.

COMPTROLLER AND AUDITOR GENERAL

   

  1. Audit Plan

To receive a verbal update on the audit plan, and project specifications from the C&AG, on:

  1. Anti-corruption arrangements
  2. Management Information in Education - follow up
  3. Code of Audit Practice Update
  1. Non-Ministerial Departments Report

To approve a draft comments paper on the Executive Response to the C&AG's report (attached, p.3)

  1. C&AG's Thinkpiece Report
  1. To note the responses from the Executive and Greffier of the States on the areas of interest of the former C&AG's report and approve their presentation to the States Assembly;
  2. To consider a draft Comments paper on the responses

PAC MATTERS

   

  1. Estate Management

To consider a draft Comments paper following the public hearing with the Director General of Growth, Housing Environment and the Director of Estates, Property Department, on 3 February 2020

To note that a private briefing will be held with the Chief Operating Officer on 9 March at 2pm and to note the updated security procurement paper

  1. Public Finances Manual (PFM)

To note a Treasury & Exchequer paper detailing minor adjustments to the PFM  

  1. Recommendations tracker

To note the progress report from the Chief of Staff on the implementation of C&AG and PAC recommendations  

  1. Customer & Local Services

To note that a private briefing with the Director General of Customer and Local Services will be held on 20 April at 2pm (following the planned publication of the C&AG's Report on Handling Complaints on 13 April 2020)

  1. To consider, in conjunction with a detailed work plan from the C&AG, a revised PAC work programme
  2. Communications
