To review and approve minutes of Panel meetings held on 15th September 2022.

SCRUTINY MATTERS  

  1. Mini Budget

To note the presentation of the Panel’s comments and to discuss the next steps, if any.

  1. Outline Economic Strategy (OES)

To  discuss  areas  for  Terms  of  Reference  and  Scoping  Document  for  the  Panel’s upcoming review of the OES.

  1. Seasonal Workers and the Rural Economy

To discuss the briefing document and question areas for the upcoming private briefing with the Minister for Social Security at 12pm.

ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS

  1. Briefing with the Minister for Social Security

To  welcome  the  Minister  for  Social  Security  to  a  private  briefing  to  discuss  the recommendations made by the previous EIA Panel on Seasonal Workers and the Rural Economy.

  1. Quarterly Hearing with the Minister for International Development

To note the upcoming quarterly hearing with the Minister for International Development on 13th October at 10am and to discuss areas of questioning.

  1. Future Meetings

To note the Panel’s upcoming joint briefing with the EHI Scrutiny Panel at 10am on 7th October 2022 in Le Capelain Room, States Building, on the Rural Economic Strategy and the Marine Strategy

To agree that the Panel’s next scheduled meeting will take place at 10am on the 13th October 2022 in the Blampied Room, in the States Building, and will include a Public Hearing with the Minister for International Development.
