To note and approve the records of the meetings held on 22nd May, 31st May and 19th June 2023.

HEARINGS AND BRIEFINGS

  1. Quarterly Hearing with the Minister for Home Affairs
  1. To note the Panel is due to receive the Minister for Home Affairs for a quarterly Public Hearing at 3.00 pm on Wednesday 26th July 2023;
  2. To discuss topic areas for the Panel’s question plan for the hearing; and
  3. To discuss methods of public engagement for the hearing.

SCRUTINY MATTERS  

  1. States Business

To review any recent Ministerial Decisions and Reports, consider any items of business for forthcoming States meetings which fall in the Panel’s remit and consider any questions that the Panel may want to ask.

  1. Scrutiny Review: Secondary Education Funding
  1. To note the Panel’s work on the review to date; and
  2. To discuss and agree the next steps for the review.
