13/07/09 Item 1 515/17 | 2. Depositor Compensation Scheme The Panel considered draft questions for the Public Hearing on Monday 3rd August with the Minister for Economic Development. The Panel agreed to circulate the draft list prior to its next meeting for consideration at that meeting. The Panel noted that the Secretary General of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) had confirmed that he would endeavour to ensure that an Associate of the organisation would be available to advise. It was agreed to follow up the inquiry if confirmation was not received by Tuesday 28th July. The Panel agreed the following additional actions: i. Arrange Public Hearings with the following witnesses: JFSC – Mr. M. Sumner, Mr. A. Le Brun & Mr. A. Herd; Law Officer's Dept – Mr. M. Wilkins & Mr. C. Borrowman; and Bankers – Mr. G. Cook, Mr. M.
