2.  Scoping Document and Terms of Reference

Consideration  was  given  to  a  draft  Scoping  Document  and  draft Terms of Reference that had previously been circulated to the Sub- Panel. The Sub-Panel was advised by the Chairman that the Control of Housing and Work (Jersey) Law and the Register of Names and Addresses (Jersey) Law had been approved by the Privy Council on 17th October 2012. The Officer was therefore requested to amend the Scoping Document and Terms of Reference accordingly. It was also requested that both documents be re-circulated to the Sub-Panel, once minor amendments had been made, for Members approval.

It was noted that, once approved by the Sub-Panel, both documents would be circulated to the Chairman's Committee and that the Terms of Reference would be provided to Senator I. Gorst , Chief Minister, in line with the  Code of Practice for Scrutiny Panels and the Public Accounts Committee.
