1. Record of Meeting

The Panel approved the record of its meeting held on 8th February 2012, which was signed accordingly by the Chairman.

 

 

2. Future Meetings

The Panel agreed that its next meeting would take place at 11:30am on 19th March 2012.

It noted that its first Quarterly Update Public Hearing with the Minister for Economic Development was scheduled to take place on 28th March, beginning at 9.30am. The Panel agreed to determine question areas for this Hearing at its meeting on 19th March.

3. Aircraft Registry

The Panel approved its Scoping Document for its Review and agreed that draft Terms of Reference should be circulated for its consideration at the earliest opportunity.

4. Financial Ombudsman Scheme

The Panel approved its Scoping Document for its Review and agreed that draft Terms of Reference should be circulated for its consideration at the earliest opportunity.

The  Panel  agreed  to  continue  to  seek  a  meeting  with  Senator  A. Breckon, who it recalled had undertaken significant work in this area.

The Panel agreed that it had not identified any issues that it intended to comment on in relation to the lodged draft Harbours (Inshore Safety) (Jersey) Regulations 201-.

The Panel noted receipt of the Economic Development Business Plan.
