1. Financial Report and Accounts 2011.

The Committee welcomed the Chief Officer and the Assistant Finance Director  for  Education  Sport  and  Culture  to  a  Public  Hearing.  The hearing was recorded for broadcast by podcasting' with the transcripts published on the Public Accounts Committee web page.

The Committee agreed to provide itself with more preparation time for future hearings.

It was agreed that any questions the Members had for the forthcoming hearing with the Treasurer of the States were to be sent to the officer for collation prior to Friday 12th October 2012. The questions were then to be re-circulated to the Committee.

It  was  agreed  that  a  working  meeting  would  be  required  in  early November to consider an early draft of the report.

 

 

2. Future Meetings

The Committee agreed that in future, minutes to all meetings would be circulated within a week of the meeting concerned. They would still be signed off at the next meeting as at present, however, an early copy of the draft would allow members to consider the content with a fresh recollection of the meeting.
