Item 5 08.04.13 516/27 | 4. Camera surveillance Review Members received an oral update on the consultation for this review and agreed to arrange public hearings on 27th & 28th June. Members recalled the two days spent with advisers on their preliminary visit. It was agreed that the current arrangements, whereby Panels were not able to provide for a working lunch with advisers unless members paid for the lunch themselves, were unsatisfactory and requested the Chairman to raise the matter with the Chairmen's Committee. | JM |

The Panel also agreed to hold a quarterly hearing with the Minister for Home Affairs and to consider the issues at its next meeting. Members noted that the Department had refused the Panel's request to provide details of their workstreams on the template agreed by the Chairmen's Committee.
