2. Pathway 2050: An Energy Plan for Jersey

The Panel considered late changes required to its report as a result of  further  contact  from  the  Transport  and  Technical  Services Department in response to the stakeholder draft, despite this having previously been approved by the department. Members agreed the amendments subject to final confirmation from the department. The Scrutiny  Officer  was  asked  to  adjust  the  report  accordingly  and arrange for its presentation to the States as soon as possible. It was noted that this was now likely to happen on 13th or 14th November 2013.

3. Radon

Further to Panel requests at the meeting on 29th October 2013 the Panel was informed that the advisers had offered to extend their contract completion date to take account of public hearings to be arranged early in 2014. It was noted that the advisers had other commitments in January 2014 but would try to accommodate review hearings with Ministers once dates were confirmed. It was agreed that the contract should be extended until the end of March to allow maximum flexibility, although it was anticipated that the review would be completed before then.
