Item 1 6.02.13 | 1. Green Street Police HQ: Traffic and Parking The Panel met to discuss evidence arising from the details of the internal survey of staff travel carried out by the States Police in October 2011, and the information presented in the Transport Assessment produced by Arup consultants on behalf of Property Holdings. It was agreed that there were large areas of uncertainty in the statistics presented. Panel members agreed a number of questions for the Scrutiny Officer to put to the consultants to try to gain a better understanding of how they had arrived at the figures used in their report, as these did not appear to be consistent with the survey data. Members approved the stakeholder version of the report (minus findings and recommendations) subject to minor changes, for release to departments. It was agreed that a statement would be included to explain the absence of detailed comments on statistical information pending receipt of further evidence. | MO MO |
