3. Integrated Care Records

The  Committee  received  an  initial  briefing  pack  and  covering report concerning the development and execution of the Integrated Care  Records  Programme  during  the  period  2004   2011 inclusive.

The Committee resolved to review the contents of the briefing pack during the Christmas recess and to consider next steps at its first meeting in January 2014.

4. Grants and Subsidies

The Committee noted that the sports grants case study had been discontinued  as  per  the  recommendation  made  at  its  25th November  meeting. Substantive  scoping  enquiries  concerning higher education grant claw-back' arrangements would be made in January 2014.

The Committee resolved to await a further progress report in the first quarter of 2014.

5. Canbedone Productions Limited Grant

The  Committee  conducted  two  public  hearings  at  which  the Treasurer of the States, the former Chief Internal Auditor and the

 

 

Chief Executive, States of Jersey were questioned.

The Committee resolved to consider the hearing transcripts prior to its next scheduled meeting and to produce a supplementary report in the first quarter of 2014.

6. Comptroller and Auditor General: work programme

The Committee noted the following concerning the ongoing work programme of the Comptroller and Auditor General -

  1. an oral update regarding recommendations concerning the States of Jersey Financial Report and Accounts 2012
  1. a project specification for a forthcoming review of Human Resources.

Regarding (a) above, it was confirmed that the Comptroller and Auditor General and the Treasurer of the States were engaged in constructive  discussions  regarding  refinements  to  the  Financial Report and Accounts 2013 that might realistically be made before final publication.

7. Future meetings

The  Committee  noted  that  its  first  meeting  of  2014  would commence at 12:30 pm on 13th January in the Blampied Room.
