1. Jersey Aircraft Registry

The  Panel  met  the  Minister  for  Economic  Development  to  raise  a number of concerns with the content of the Business Case, and the implications of the inadequate time afforded to it to undertake its work ahead  of  the  forthcoming  States  debate  on  associated  legislation, scheduled for 17th June. As an immediate step, it was agreed that the Minister would defer debate until the subsequent sitting in order to provide the Panel with further detail and research underpinning the Business Case. The Panel would also submit a number of questions and  information  requests  that  the  Department  would  endeavour  to address.  The  information  provided  would  help  inform  the  Panel's approach to the debate, and any related actions it might take.

Following the meeting with the Minister for Economic Development, the Panel drafted a series of questions and information requests to be forwarded to the Department once suitably formatted.
