25/06/14 Item 4 515/23 | 1. Jersey Aircraft Registry The Panel met the Minister for Economic Development to receive a briefing on the draft Aircraft Registration (Jersey) Law 201- and the associated legislative bundle, following the concerns it had raised with the Minister regarding the content of the Jersey Aircraft Registry Business Case ahead of the forthcoming States debate. Following the briefing the Panel considered its approach to the debate. It was agreed that the Panel was content to support the debate taking place as planned, subject to confirmation of the agreement reached with the Minister for Economic Development that, should the legislation be approved by the States, the subsequent re- drafted Business Case would not be presented to the States or implemented without the Panel's prior approval. |
