Item 14.04.14 516/39 | 2 | 3. Draft Explosives (Jersey) Law 201- The Panel agreed that the review was to be concluded with comments to the Minister's forthcoming proposition. The Comité des Connétable s had expressed a requirement that the Connétable s were included in consultation when any new explosives magazine had been applied for in their particular parish. As the Minister for Home Affairs was in attendance for other reasons, this was discussed with him. He agreed that a change in the draft Explosives (Jersey) Law 201- was to be made to that effect. The drafting of the comments was to be delayed until the Minister's proposition had been lodged. | MR |

Following the hearing on 24th March 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs had brought an amendment to P.14/2014 which resolved all concerns the Panel had encountered. The Panel's terms of reference were considered to be fulfilled and the review was therefore considered complete by the Panel's publication of comments to P.14/2014 on 23rd April 2014. |
