Burton, Chairman of the Jersey Construction Council, Education, Training and Professional Development sub-committee. The Panel heard that from the point of view of the Jersey Construction Council, the Trackers Programme was successful in delivering apprentices of suitable quality into the construction industry. There was room for more educative work in the schools to advise the youngsters of the island of the diverse career opportunities within the construction industry and to show that there was more to the construction industry than many people understood. |
