Jersey International Finance Centre The Panel agreed to request a meeting with the Greffier of the States to assist its understanding of Propositions considered by the States Assembly regarding the Esplanade Quarter and States of Jersey Development Company since 2008. The Panel also requested a briefing be arranged with the Department of the Environment to discuss the framework of planning legislation, plans and policies relevant to the Esplanade Quarter, in addition to relevant planning permits and planning obligation agreements. The Panel further agreed to request from the Department a breakdown of approved permits for commercial office space in St Helier, with an indication of the current status of the permit and the amount of office space approved.
