1. Records of Meetings

The Panel approved the records of the meetings held on 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th and 28th October 2015 and 2nd, 6th and 19th November 2015. The Chairman signed them accordingly.

2. Jersey International Finance Centre

The Panel discussed the amended slides which had been circulated by the  Chairman  for  the  presentation  to  all  States  Members  on  1st December 2015. The Panel made minor amendments and approved the content. The Panel requested the Chairman liaise with the Officer regarding any further issues on the presentation.

3. Transfer of Functions

The Panel approved its report to its amendment and requested this be lodged  accordingly.   The  Panel  also  approved  its  Comments  and requested these be circulated to its advisor for factual checking.

4. Draft Budget 2016

The Panel considered its draft report together with the draft reports from its advisors. The Panel made amendments to its report and requested a revised draft be circulated for further discussion.

5. Ministerial Decisions

The Panel agreed that no further action was required on the recent Ministerial Decisions as circulated.

 

 

6. Future Meetings

The  Panel  agreed  to  change  its  next  scheduled  meeting  on  14th December 2015 to start at 1pm due to the States sitting later that day. The Panel also agreed to cancel the Public Quarterly Hearings on 7th December 2015 with the Chief Minister and the Minister for Treasury and Resources and the Public Quarterly Hearing on 10th December with the Minister for External Relations.
