513/1/1(6) | 2. Quarterly Hearing, Minister for Treasury and Resources The Panel agreed the question areas for the forthcoming quarterly hearing with the Chief Minister, and agreed that it would develop the detail at its next meeting beginning at 9am on Monday 11th May 2015. |

Item 6 27.04.15 513/7(6) | 3. Public Finance (Jersey) Law 2005 – Amendment The Panel considered the draft report of its expert advisor, CIPFA. It agreed to draft an amendment to the amendment to establish a sunset clause within the amendment. Item 4 15.04.15 | 4. Transfer of Functions The Panel recalled that at its meeting on 15th April it had considered correspondence dated 25th March requesting an update from the Chief Minister about his revised approach to proposals set out in R160/2014 and the draft States of Jersey (Establishment of Minister, Re-Naming of Ministers and Transfer of Functions) (Jersey) Regulations 201-. During those considerations it noted that it awaited a response, and had agreed to write again to the Chief Minister asking for this to be received shortly, including on organisational changes, such as those regarding the Home Affairs and Chief Minister's Departments and externally facing areas of government. |
|
| It noted however the lodging, without prior notification to the Panel, of P.46/2015(Re-issue) Draft States of Jersey (Transfer of Functions No. 8) (Miscellaneous Transfers) (Jersey) Regulations 201- on 6th May 2015. It agreed that this action and the consequential additional pressure this placed on the Panel's already very heavy workload, would be raised with the Chief Minister at the forthcoming quarterly hearing |
