1.  Transfer of Functions: public hearing

The Panel met (at 9.00am) with the Minister for Education, Sport and Culture,  Assistant  Minister   Connétable  S.W.  Pallett,  and  the  Chief Officer, Education, Sport and Culture for the purpose of a public hearing for the Panel's review of the Transfer of Functions.

The Panel met (at 11.00am) with the Minister for Economic Development, Assistant Ministers Connétable Pallett and Deputy M.J. Norton, and the Chief Officer, Economic Development Department for the purpose of a public hearing for the Panel's review of the Transfer of Functions.

The Panel met (at 2.00pm) to discuss the outcomes of the morning's public hearings and consider questions to be put to the Chief Minister at a final public hearing to take place the following day.

4.  Northern Ferry Route

The Panel met (at 3.00pm) for the purposes of a private briefing with the Group Chief Executive Officer of Ports of Jersey Limited to discuss matters  relating  to  the  Northern  Ferry  Route  and  the  Operating Agreement between the Harbour Master of Jersey and Condor Limited, in connection with a possible future review by the Panel.
