03/09/15 Item 5 517/33 | 3. Zero-Hour Contracts The Panel noted that the majority of survey responses received so far had been from those working in the public sector. In an attempt to avoid skewed results and encourage more people to complete the survey, the Panel agreed that a final push before the survey deadline on 9th October was required. The Panel requested that the Officer send out a media release as a reminder to the public that the survey was still live and that the Panel welcomed additional responses. Furthermore, the Panel suggested setting up a stall in King Street during a lunch hour to distribute surveys and flyers. The Panel agreed it would organise a suitable time and date. The Panel requested that the Officer arrange hearings with potential stakeholders for week beginning 12th October. | LS |
