1. Records of Meetings

The Panel noted and approved the records of meetings held on 9th (public and private) and 13th April 2015. The Chairman thereby signed them accordingly.

2. Quarterly Hearing

The Panel received the Minister for Health and Social Services and his Officers for a Quarterly Public Hearing. The proceedings were recorded in order that a transcript could be made.

3. Respite Care for Adults

The officer advised that Heads of Report for the Panel's review of respite would be completed during the week commencing 27th April 2015. The Panel agreed that once the document was received it would organise a meeting.

4. Mental Health Strategy

The officer advised that an invitation had been received from the Health Department regarding a briefing on the mental health strategy. The Panel agreed that this should take place towards the end of May and tasked the officer to arrange the briefing.

5. Living Wage/Zero Hour Contract

The officer confirmed that the report regarding living wage and zero hour contracts would be published on 11th May. In that regard, it was

 

 

 

also confirmed that the Panel would receive a briefing on 7th May from the Social Security Department. The Panel asked the officer to confirm with the Department that it would receive an early copy of the report prior to the briefing.

 

 

6. Financial Report – first quarter

The Panel noted its first quarterly expenditure update.
