04.03.15 Item 1 517/30 | 2. Respite Care for Adults The Panel received an update from the officers on the status of the review. It was noted that the call for evidence had officially ended on the 2nd March; however some extensions had been granted. The Panel requested that the officers follow-up with some of the organisations that had not sent written submissions. The Panel requested that public hearings were organised with the Jersey Employment Trust and Senator P. Routier as he had been involved in the Service User Forum. The Panel also requested that public hearings were organised with the Minister for Social Security and Minister for Health and Social Services for the week commencing 13th April. The Panel agreed that this would allow sufficient time for it to review all of the evidence gathered so far. The officers advised that it was important for the Panel to remain focused on the timeline for the review as forecast in its original Scoping Document. The Panel noted that the site visit to Mont à L'Abbé Secondary School had been organised to take place on Friday 6th March at 11:30 am. | KB/SM KB/SM KB/SM |

The Panel decided not to review the Patient Travel Policy due to other forthcoming work commitments such as the living wage, zero hour contracts and the Sex Discrimination Regulations. |

20.02.15 Item 4 517/1/1(3) | 5. Mental Health Legislation The Panel noted that a briefing had been organised for Thursday 19th March to discuss the forthcoming legislation into mental health. |
|
517/27 | 6. Child and Adult Mental Health Service (CAMHS) The Panel noted that an invitation had been sent from the Interim Director of Community and Social Services to discuss progress with CAMHS since the previous Panel had presented its report. The Panel agreed that a meeting would be useful and requested the officer to arrange the discussion to take place before the Easter period. The Panel also requested to receive the previous Panel report into CAMHS as well as the Ministerial Response. | KB/SM |
