Quarterly Hearing with the Minister for Health and Social Services The Panel received the Minister for Health and Social Services and his Officers for a Quarterly Public Hearing. The proceedings were recorded in order that a transcript could be made. Subsequent to the hearing, the Panel discussed whether the format of its Quarterly Public Hearings could be enhanced. Recalling that the former Health, Social Security and Housing Scrutiny Panel had alternated the focus of its Quarterly Public Hearings between health matters and social services ones, the Panel agreed to explore whether to replicate that approach. | KB |

The Panel was advised that guidance had been sought from the Statistics Unit on the framing of questions and on the structure of the survey.
