1.  Jersey International Finance Centre (JIFC)

It  was  noted  that  a  new  tenant  had  recently  been  announced  for Building 4 of the JIFC.

The Panel discussed a draft letter to the Privileges and Procedures Committee  in  relation  to  the  draft  summons  decision.  The  Panel approved the letter, subject to a minor change, and requested that the final draft be circulated before being sent.

The  Panel  reviewed  information  received  from  the  Department  of Economic  Development,  Tourism,  Sport  and  Culture  in  relation  to employment licences granted to businesses.

The minutes of the Regeneration Steering Group were reviewed by the Panel and the RSG's remit in overseeing regeneration projects was discussed. It was noted that the minutes might be of relevance to other Scrutiny Panels and that the Chairman could raise this at a future Chairmen's Committee, should other Panel Chairmen wish to request copies of the minutes for their own panels.
