On receipt of that report the Panel was to start drafting its own report. In preparation for the forthcoming public meeting at the Pomme D'Or Hotel to discuss the proposed changes in nursery funding, the Panel viewed and approved a power point presentation which outlined an agenda with various sections for discussion at the meeting and decided which sections Members would facilitate. The Panel also discussed P.39/2016, Nursery Funding: Implementation of Proposed Changes, lodged by Deputy M. Tadier . Media Filming Members had received a complaint from a member of the public to the effect that the media had included members of the public in its filming during the recent public hearing with the Minister for Education. The Panel agreed that it did not consider a problem existed as the focus had been on the people around the table, not on the members of the public in the background who were sitting around the room. |
