2.  Higher Education

The Panel discussed the scoping of the intended review into higher education and recognised that the work that was required spanned all tertiary education. Consideration was given to the size of the task and the options of undertaking the work in smaller sections or in one large review. It was decided that a draft scoping document and time line was to be circulated to assist with the decision making process. It was also noted  that  R  51/2016  Higher  Education  Funding'  was  due  to  be debated in the States on 11th October 2016 and might offer an insight into how States Members considered the current funding status. The Panel was to meet to discuss this further after that debate.
