1.  Education Quarterly Public Hearing

The Panel agreed that the quarterly public hearing with the Minister for Education, was to be moved to 1200hrs on 18th May 2016.

2.  Building a Safer Society

The  Panel  agreed  to  receive  a  briefing  regarding  Building  a  Safer Society on 19th April 2016.

3.  Home Affairs Quarterly Public Meeting

The Panel recognized that the Minister was unwell and agreed that as there were no pressing issues connected with Home Affairs at that time, the hearing was cancelled.

4.  Scrutiny Panel Names

The Panel discussed the names of the Scrutiny Panels and agreed that the names of the Panels should reflect the Ministries that their remit covered. For example, the Corporate Services Panel were better re- named "Chief Minister, Treasury and External Relations Panel".

5.  Department Work Programmes

The Panel required up to date work programmes from each of the departments within its remit.

6.  Medium Term Financial Plan Addition

The Panel agreed to put the whole of the week commencing 4th July 2016 and the week commencing 30th August 2016 aside for work on the Medium Term Financial Plan in anticipation that there would be significant work to be done.

Information was to be obtained about the advisor which was being made available by the Corporate Services Panel.
