It was agreed that the Hearing could be organised for 10th November in place of the next Quarterly Hearing.

The Panel requested a detailed accounting analysis of the savings made  by  Health  and  how  the  remaining  subsidy  would  be  divided between District Nursing and Rapid Response and Reablement. The Panel also requested a copy of the Service Level Agreement between Health and Family Nursing and Home Care if available.

It was noted Senator S.C. Ferguson was currently a trustee of Age Concern.  The  Officer  explained  that  it  was  not  envisaged  that  the review would extend to corresponding with Age Concern, however, it was agreed that the matter would be raised again once the Panel started its main review of the Long-Term Care Scheme.
