1. Staff Recruitment and Retention

The Panel received comments from stakeholders regarding the factual accuracy  of  the  draft  report.  The  Panel  noted  that  the  comments received from the Health and Social Services Department included an updated table on the number of vacancies within the Department. The Panel  tasked  the  Officer  to  seek  clarification  on  the  number  of vacancies and request a breakdown of the figures.

The Panel made minor changes to its report based on the comments received  from  other  stakeholders.  The  Panel  also  discussed  and approved in principal its key findings and recommendations.

The  Officer  advised  that  a  revised  version  of  the  report  would  be circulated in due course. It was agreed that once clarification had been received from the Health Department the Panel would meet to discuss and approve its final report ready for presentation to the States.
