The Panel agreed that the Proposition should ask the States to agree that the cut in benefits should be restored. The Panel agreed to discuss the matter further in due course. |

23/11/16 Item 1 517/35 | 5. Service Users of Home Care review The Panel agreed that the Public Hearing with Family Nursing and Home Care which took place on 22nd November went well. The Panel agreed that enough evidence had been gathered for the review and tasked the Officer to draft the Heads of Report. The Panel noted that Deputy G. Southern had lodged a Proposition "Funding for Family Nursing and Home Care Services – Petition" P.122/2016 on 15th November 2016. The Panel discussed the matter and concerns were raised regarding the scrutiny function being compromised | AH |

It was noted that the Proposition had mentioned the Panel's review and it was agreed that, in order to maintain the integrity of the scrutiny process, Panel Members should communicate their intentions should they wish to lodge a Proposition or Amendment which directly related to a scrutiny review. |

| 6. Jersey Health Profile 2016 The Panel noted that the Jersey Health Intelligence Unit had published a report "Jersey Health Profile 2016" on 24th November 2016. The Panel agreed that the key issues highlighted in the report were relevant to its remit and requested that a briefing was organised. | KB |
| 7. Meeting dates for 2017 The Panel confirmed that the meeting day for 2017 would remain on a Thursday and meetings would take place at 9:30am. |
