1. Zero-Hours Contracts Review

The Panel continued to discuss the first draft of the report. The Officer was instructed to make amendments to the report as discussed and the Panel agreed to meet again on Thursday 11th February to consider the second draft.

2. Staff Recruitment and Retention

The Panel discussed a second draft of its report. The Panel requested that some amendments were made to the report and agreed that a revised version would be circulated via email in due course. The Panel further agreed that it would approve the draft report electronically so that the Officer was able to send it to stakeholders for factual checking.

3. Living on Low Income

The  Panel  considered  a  draft  press  release  and  call  for  evidence advert. After making minor amendments, the Panel approved the two documents.  The  Panel  was  advised  that  the  review  would  be announced publically during the week commencing 8th February.

The Panel requested that the Channel 103 radio advert included the same questions as the call for evidence. The Officer advised that a script would be circulated for approval in due course.

The Panel also considered a draft letter to key agencies and the Comitè de Connétable . After making some amendments to the two letters, it was  agreed  that  they  would  be  circulated  in  due  course  for  final approval.
