1. Records of Meetings

The Panel noted and approved the records of its meetings held on 23rd and 24th November 2016. The Chairman signed them accordingly.

2. Quarterly Hearing with the Minister for Social Security

The Panel discussed the Quarterly Hearing with the Minister for Social Security which took place on 24th November. The Panel agreed that the issue of zero-hour contracts and exclusivity clauses would be followed up in future Quarterly Hearings.

3. Future Hospital Review

The Sub-Panel Chairman signed the outstanding records of meetings on behalf of the Sub-Panel.

4. Living on Low Income Review

The Panel agreed to lodge a proposition regarding the cut in Income Support for lone parent households. The Officer advised that a number of documents had been passed on to the Panel relating to this matter and it was agreed that it would be discussed further at the Panel's next meeting.

5. Service Users of Home Care review

The Panel had previously received draft Heads of Report and a draft of the main sections of the report. The Panel agreed that it would read all the documents received to date, and would meet on Thursday 15th December to discuss the matter further. The Officer advised that a meeting request would be sent in due course.

6. Jersey Health Profile 2016

The Panel received an update regarding a briefing from the Jersey Health Intelligence Unit. It was noted that the briefing would most likely take place in January 2017, but would be confirmed in due course.

The Panel requested information on the mental health strategy with a view to undertaking a review in 2017. The Officer advised that research
