1. Concerto Report

The Sub-Panel held a conference call with its advisor Mr M. Symes from Concerto, following submission of a report from Concerto and the initial response to it from the Minister for Health and Social Services.

It  was  agreed  that  Concerto  would  further  produce  a  summary document of the key issues relating to the Future Hospital Project as well as some questions to pose to the Minister. The advisor confirmed that the work would amount to 4 days in total which would increase the budget by £6,000. It was agreed that the document would be received by 7th October.

Once  the  conference  call  had  ended,  the  Sub-Panel  discussed  its review  and  agreed  that  once  the  additional  document  had  been received from Concerto, it would be passed on to the Minister and his Department for a written response.

The Sub-Panel also agreed that a private meeting with the Minister would be organised in due course. The Sub-Panel agreed to confirm whether the meeting would be formalised into a Private Hearing once a response  from  the  Minister  had  been  received.  The  Sub-Panel requested that the meeting, whether a private meeting or hearing, was recorded so that a transcript would be available.

The Sub-Panel also agreed that the aforementioned Concerto report and Minister's response (dependent on permission) would be made publically available in due course.
