| 2. Expressions of Interest The Chairman advised that he had, at the last States sitting, publicly requested States members to express their interest in joining the PAC as Vice-Chairman. |

| 3. Declarations of Interest Mr. M. Robinson was conflicted in respect of the Review of Travel and Accommodation. He would attend the Public Hearing on 12th July 2016 to ask questions of the Chief Officer of Health and Social Services Department, but not be involved in subsequent discussions. |

The National Audit Office Members agreed that there had been good discussion with the Director of Parliamentary Relations from the National Audit Office on 1st July 2016 and members of the Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel. The main points to progress were a better media and communications strategy for Scrutiny and further training in question planning. |

| 5. Internal Audit Apologies from Ms. C. Watson, the Chief Internal Auditor, were received for her non-attendance at the meeting. It was agreed she should be invited to attend a subsequent meeting. | CT |

| It was noted that due to time constraints, the Chief Minister had not been able to meet with the Chairman. Quarterly Meetings would be reinstated after the summer recess. |

| 7. C&AG – Jersey Audit Office Audit Plan The C&AG presented a brief confidential update on the progress made. The C&AG advised that her review of the arms-length organisations would encompass a review of the Innovation Fund and her intention was to produce a report by September 2016. Members agreed to wait to review the C&AG's report before the PAC undertook its own work on this matter. It was noted that the PAC Officer had chased the Chief Minister's Department for responses to various reports and their responses were expected shortly. | CT |
| 8. C&AG – eGov Report Mr Robinson had agreed to take the role of lead on the future eGov review planned by the PAC. Dr Sally Howes from the National Audit Office was due to visit Jersey to speak about digital innovation, and would liaise with Mr Robinson and the PAC officer before the PAC launched its review. | CT |
| 9. PAC Symposium The Chairman and PAC Officer were still to attend the 4th Public Accounts Committees Symposium in London on 17th and 18th October 2016, and a space had been made available for another member since the Vice-Chairman's departure. The Chairman agreed to invite the newly-appointed Vice-Chairman to the event. | AL |
