Item 1 22.06.16 515/37 | 2. Digital Jersey The Panel discussed impressions gained during a visit and meeting held at the Digital Hub on 14th June. The Hub appeared to be active and well- used by clients, and the CEO and officers had made a very positive case for supporting the industry. It was noted that Mr. Frank Walker had recently been appointed as Chairman of the company, although this was not mentioned at the meeting. Members considered that following the review of Jersey Sport, it would be appropriate for the Panel to request copies of the set-up documentation for other States-funded bodies such as Digital Jersey, Visit Jersey, Jersey Finance etc. | MO |
Item 3 14.06.17 515/39 | 3. Jersey Sport: Establishment It was noted that there had been no response from the department as yet to the Panel's comments on legal documentation, submitted on 19th June. It was understood that the department was waiting for an opinion from Ogier (advocates) in respect of any possible amendments. |

Licensing Law The Panel was informed that no reply had yet been received to the Chairman's letter of 16th June asking for an explanation of the Collective Responsibility' statement in the Report on P.54/2017, and no further information had been received concerning a rumoured Amendment to the Proposition. It was agreed that the Scrutiny Officer should seek clarification of the department's position. Replies were similarly awaited to correspondence with the Law Office and the Office of the Bailiff , also sent on 16th June. | MO |

Item 4 22.03.17 | 6. Quarterly public hearing Panel members confirmed their availability for a quarterly public hearing with the Minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture to take place on 21st July. A provisional list of topics was discussed. | MO |
