1. Quarterly Hearing with the Minister for Health and Social Services

The Panel received the Minister for Health and Social Services and his Officers for a Quarterly Public Hearing. The proceedings were recorded in order that a transcript could be made.

2. Service Users of Home Care

The Panel received comments back from stakeholders and made any necessary  changes  to  its report. The  Officer  advised  that  once the changes had been made it would be circulated to the Panel for final approval via email.

3. Living on Low Income

The Panel noted that it was due to meet with parents from Brighter Futures on Tuesday 28th February. It was agreed that once additional evidence  had  been  gathered,  the  Proposition  would  be  drafted accordingly.

4. Long Term Care Scheme Review

The Panel noted that the conflict of interest matters in relation to the Chairman were due to be discussed at a Chairmen's Committee meeting on  Tuesday  28th  February.  The  Officer  advised  that  the  Scoping

 

 

 

Document and Terms of Reference for the review would be circulated for approval after 28th February.

5. Quarterly Hearing with the Minister for Social Security: Question Plan

The Panel noted that it was due to meet the Minister for Social Security on Thursday 23rd March for a Quarterly Public Hearing. The Panel discussed potential areas of questioning and the Officer advised that a draft question plan would be attached to the next agenda.

6. Safeguarding

The Panel noted that a meeting had been organised with the Chairman of the Ministerial Policy Group for Children and Vulnerable Adults on 13th March.

 

 

7. Future Meetings

The Panel noted that its next scheduled meeting would take place on 9th March 2017 at 9:30a.m in the Le Capelain room, States Building.
