01/06/17 Item 2 517/36 | 1. Long-Term Care Scheme The Panel met to discuss the evidence received to date and noted a briefing paper from the Officer. The Panel agreed that Hearings should be arranged with organisations such as Les Amis and Autism Jersey. It also agreed that Maison St Brelade, Silver Springs and St Ewold's Residential Homes should also be invited to attend Hearings. The week commencing the 24th July was identified for these Hearings to take place. The Officer advised that a Hearing schedule would be confirmed in due course. Senator S. Ferguson advised that she was a trustee of Maison St Brelade. The Panel agreed that this would not cause a conflict should representatives of Maison St Brelade attend a Hearing. The Panel noted that its advisor, Professor M. Johnson would be visiting Jersey on 28th June and several meetings had been organised. The Panel agreed that potential areas of questioning for the Hearings would be discussed with Professor Johnson . | KB |
