1. Previous meeting of 18 December 2017

The  Committee,  having  noted  that  the  last  meeting  on  18 December 2017, agreed to ratify the decisions made at that meeting, together with a further request made by email from the Treasury and Resources Department.

2. C&AG Affiliate – Future Hospital: Decision Making

The Committee ratified the decision to welcome Ann Trudgeon, C&AG Affiliate, to its meeting on 15 January, to aid its discussion of the C&AG's Report, Future Hospital: Decision Making.' And prepare  a  question  plan  on  overarching  topics  of  particular interest.

3. Recurring Themes – new PAC Review

The  Committee  ratified  the  decision  to  conduct  most  of  the research via email, and to invite Charlie Parker, the new Chief Executive, to its meeting on 29 January 2018.

4. Abortive Costs' - Report and Proposition

The Committee agreed to ratify the decision to consider a draft, prior to it being sent to the Law Officers' Department, at a PAC meeting in January 2018.

5. eGov Review - Report

The Committee ratified the decision to receive a draft report on or before 12 January 2018, with a view to publishing the final report on  30  January  2018,  and  that  the  timescale  would  involve weekend reading.

6. Jersey Innovation Fund Review – Report

The Committee agreed to ratify the decision to receive a draft report on or before 5 January 2018, with a view to publishing the final report on 23 January 2018, and that the timescale would involve weekend reading.

7. Road Surfacing Review – Report

The Committee ratified the decision to not pursue a full review into this  subject  although  it  requested  the  Officer  to  present  the findings  to  date  in  a  short  paper  for  the  Committee's consideration.

8. MTFP Annex - Approval

The Committee noted a request by the Treasury and Resources Department, via email of 19 December 2017, received by the Officer on 20 December 2017, to authorise the C&AG annex of the 2018 Medium Term Financial Plan, by 21 December 2017. The Committee noted the C&AG's submitted changes to the annex, to reflect the change in offices and staff. The Chairman of PAC, under Article 24C of the Public Finances (Jersey) Law 2005, duly  authorised  the  submission  of  the  update  to  the  MTFP Addition  Annex  for  2018,  including  the  revised  expenditure allocations and manpower budgets.

9. Funding of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service

The Committee ratified the decision to not pursue a review into this matter.

The Committee ratified the decision to meet at 1.30 pm on 15 January 2018.
