I have attended the last 2 events and had an amazing time.
I can appreciate that the police have this year given up a number of hours, Unpaid, in order to support this event. I think this is great, but obviously for them, not ideal.
We have a number of Hon. police, which i am told, are voluntary workers. Why not take these people, from around the island to support the other officers. Also, aren't our police force capable of safe guarding the islands, why is it necessary to bring over police from UK???
I do think that our taxes should pay part, if not all the costs for this event, as it would be a shame to loose such a great event, due to lack of support from the government.
