Dear Scrutiny Officer,

With reference to the above review - which may now be closed for responses - I would like to make the following comments:

I believe that the name is ambiguous in that it wrongly implies "The Jersey Enterprise Board" is an authority for all things pertaining to enterprise. I suggest that a board with this title may become confused with the likes of Economic Development and that the name should more accurately reflect that it is concerned with the management of the States' property assets.

I also believe that the necessary commercial focus and freedom will only be achieved by the use of a non- governmental corporate vehicle such as a Company or Trust. Such a company could be operated as though it were a facilities management company, owned by the States, and thereby, composed of the same proposed board members. Land ownership (unless sold) would remain with the States whilst sanctioning property sell- off could, of course, continue to be a power vested in the same individuals in their ministerial capacities.

Regards, Jon Scott .
