As Hon. Secretary to the Jersey Jewish Congregation I have been asked to respond to the changes to the law regarding marriage in Jersey.
We are happy to allow the changes to the above law with the condition that SECTION B: PROTECTION FOR RELIGIOUS ORGANISATIONS AND OFFICIALS in P/91 Amendment Four is approved by the States members as protection for us and others who do not wish to sanction same sex marriage due to the their religious constraints.
