Good afternoon

I have just read the article in Bailiwick about the proposal to enforce a licence of all rented accommodation however I am very alarmed at the cost of this licence (£200 per year) plus a set up fee of £50. This is outrageous and is not fair at all.

I rent one 3 bedroomed property to a tenant who has been in residence for 8 years and I can assure you the property is well kept and in excellent living order.

I cannot see how charging me £200 a year so that the property is licenced is going to make any difference. This is an extortionate charge.

If it was a one off charge then I may consider this acceptable but there is absolutely no point taking money from me each year is going to change anything about the state of the property.

Please consider my comments when you are looking into this proposal.

I feel this is absolutely ridiculous and not at all helpful. I disagree with this completely.

Kind regards Vanessa Vanessa Samuels
