I am concerned that no decision on the Future Hospital site should be taken before:
- Publication of the unredacted PWC report on the Jersey Care Model and its implications for the number of beds and services to be provided by the new hospital, allowing time for proper review by the public, Scrutiny and States Members.
- Consideration whether the existing hospital site, rejected in the shortlisting process on grounds of insufficient footprint, should also have been (and now should be) considered on the basis of "de- listing" (or rebuilding to retain the facade) the Granite Building, which would appreciably increase the available footprint.
