Scrutiny Matters Feedback - Housing in green zones

I would like the panel to know how upset so many of the population of Jersey are that the Government continues to consider using fields for more housing. Jersey is being ruined by overpopulation and destroying the coastline and countryside with yet more housing. I flew into Jersey last week and it was truly heartbreaking to see how heavily built up the island is now. What is the point of continuing to build more houses when there will never be enough housing without population control. Why would anyone in government want to see this island destroyed? If people don't want to live in flats in town then the only option is to move away or not settle in the first place. Enough is enough and Jersey is full. There should be no more building in green zones and priority should be given to homes for the elderly to downsize into thereby freeing up family homes without building more. Please do not ruin this island any more. It is a very special place and once ruined cannot be put right again.
