I'm a Landlord and Jersey Born resident and wish to leave my opinion as to Accomodation in Jersey.

  1. I believe the population is too large.
  2. That Green Zone land needs to say untouched (We in fact need to introduce new green areas and trees in St Helier) 3. New Housing should be created if required from old derelict sites which are many in number.
  1. Retirement Homes need to have decent size Grounds and gardens like giving people a chance to do gardening if possible....its a pastime and hobby retired people enjoy and encourages self esteem and pleasure...good mental health as we get older.
  2. There are some terrible sites on the island that need urgent sorting out e.g. The broken down Green Houses down Rue De Tapon which are not only an eyesore but dam dangerous to life and animal welfare... There are other places like this that could be better utilised.
  3. I'm all for eco friendly and Going green ASAP but the government needs to do much, much more to promote change.... They just don't seem to get it... We hear the noise but there's no real understanding or support for making the changes asked and introduction of the eco friendly equipment needed.... Thing are going way to slowly... Yes Electric Vechiles and Bikes are a start with eco stations but what about reducing prices on Solar Panels and helping those that can't afford them?.... I'm sure JEC a Jersey Gas don't want Solar in Jersey as it destroys there profits.... JEC and Jersey Gas need to be government owned for change to happen more swiftly so greed and profit is no longer a factor.

I'm sure there are many more point I can raise.....
