Scrutiny Matters Feedback - Unused sites

Before using green fields and causing an urban spread from already over developed areas address the decades old question of empty properties and derelict sites. Particularly broken down glass houses areas. I'm lucky enough to be able to walk the lanes now retired. The plethora of falling down properties is of great concern and annoyance. Has the 1000 identified years ago now increased? Neighbourhoods would surely prefer to see them renewed or replaced. On just a short stroll around Victoria Village I saw several such sites. Some just derelict sheds with decades of bramble strangling the whole area. If these sites are deemed for agricultural use why isn't there a Will to ensure their correct usage? Such an eyesore and just a waste of valuable acreage. If compulsory purchase is so easy to facilitate the building of the hospital on the wrong site surely this power can be utilised to resurrect already built upon land.
