Chief Minister & Senator Lyndon,

Both my wife and I are totally opposed to the proposed Overdale access route and strongly feel that you've taken advantage of the current COVID situation and Xmas period to rush this through as quick as possible, whilst everybody is preoccupied with much bigger concerns in their lives.

As Westmount development home owners (first time buyers) we're so deeply concerned.

We love our meandering walks around this area, the lush greenery and the local wildlife including beautiful birds and even red squirrels.

With a baby due in July the prospect of having a green space and accompanying children's playground right across the road was a huge draw for us when deciding on purchasing our home and this proposal takes that away!

Notwithstanding the removal of green space which we also frequently use for enjoyment / exercise together with other residents and friends who visit with their own children and who use the same and take enjoyment also from the playground.

And the noise pollution with such a proposed development/ project, the increased foot and vehicle traffic and sirens from emergency vehicles.

As a local Jersey-man I've almost never felt the need to EVER pen anything to a States member or deputy but this Is the second time in under 12 months - I'm afraid your failing is, this has gone too far and our voices must now be heard - we're slowly beginning to lose faith in the States ability to just do the right thing and the fact you had surveyors out there today taking measurements prior to anything being actually agreed is jumping the gun wouldn't you say?

GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD - YOU HAVE MADE A GRAVE MISTAKE IM AFRAID !
